Are you Thirsty?

“Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water?" John 4:11. Sometimes we run to those things that fill our thirst, like addictions, anger, busyness, and (you fill in the blank) and we think how can anyone help or pull me out of this. Our thirst is great and our well is deep. However, Jesus provides a deeper well, and water that will quench that thirst. “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but those who drink the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:13. Not only does he promise eternal life but an eternal spring of water living within you. Wherever you go and wherever you are, when you call on him, he will be there. Instead of trying to fill your thirst with (fill in the blank), Quench it with the eternal spring of Water, Jesus. Fill your well with the word!
